Working for a Better Environment!
NFDA partners with embalming chemical companies to produce a more environmentally friendly profession
During the past decade, environmental regulators on the local, state and federal levels have become increasingly proactive when dealing with funeral homes and their handling and disposal of embalming chemicals and embalming wastes. Recently, NFDA convened a meeting in Washington, D.C., to discuss this matter, as well as other environmental issues, with representatives from several major embalming chemical companies.
