Dear NFDA Supplier,
We invite you to join us in a truly unique opportunity to memorialize the brave soldiers who have made the ultimate sacrifice for their country in the global war against terror and are now interred at Arlington National Cemetery.
As a sponsor of the Arlington National Cemetery Commemorative Project, NFDA is striving to support at the highest level the production of a beautiful, oversized commemorative book on the history of Arlington Cemetery. The first 5,000 copies of the book will be sent to the families of active service members interred in Arlington Cemetery who have been killed during the war on terror.
"Where Valor Rests" is an exceptional commemorative photographic book that chronicles the passionate effort to maintain Arlington and the deeply moving ceremonies conducted on a daily basis within its gates. Because so many families can't afford to travel to Washington for the internment of their loved one, the Arlington National Cemetery Commemorative Project is dedicated to providing fallen soldiers' families with a poignant visual tribute to keep in their homes and close to their hearts.
For additional information on this historic project, please call an NFDA Member Service Representative at 800-228-6332, visit http://www.nfda.org/page.php?pID=929 or the Arlington National Cemetery Commemorative Project website at http://www.wherevalorrests.org
State associations, funeral home, suppliers and individuals who pledge a tax-deductible donation of $1,000 or more will be listed alongside NFDA in the book in recognition of their support. Regardless of the amount donated, any state association, firm, supplier or individual that contributes will receive an ad slick recognizing their support, a mention on the NFDA Website and in The Director magazine. But if you would like your name published in the book, you must make a commitment of $1,000 or more by Monday, February 12.
Time is of the essence! To have your name listed in the book, we must receive your pledge of $1,000 or more by Monday, February 12, 2007. Pledge payments must be received by NFDA by May 1, 2007. There are three ways to make a pledge or donation:
- Fill out the pledge form found here:http://www.nfda.org/page.php?pID=929 and fax it back to us at 262-789-6977 today!
